First an apology for writing in English, hope you will understand.
When I purchased my Coronet 24 Family in 2004 with original twin 130 engines, the props rotated inwards, that is when in forward gear towards the centre line of the boat. I was told that this was incorrect and on a twin engine boat they should rotate away from the centre. This was to avoid pulling the boat down at the stern.
I reversed the direction of rotation and found the performance severely affected, 9 knots at 3500 rpm. Changed the props back and got back to previous performance.
Has any one had a similar experience, or does anyone know why this should affect the boat so much. It does have large non adjustable trim tabs.

Yes normally on the left drive the propeller rotates left when drive is in forward gear, and on the other drive the propeller rotates right. Note 1: that the propellers are different on the the two drives one is left rotating and the other right rotating they must be mounted on correct drive.
Note 2: To change rotation direction on the drive you move the shift cable in the drive and some other adjustments.

The easiest way to change this on your boat is to change placement of the two drives and also change the propellers between the drives, if you do like that I think you will have the same or better performance than before and without the tendency of pulling down the stern.

I also have a 24 Family with twin VP enganes diesel 106 bp totally rebuliço acording with the manufacturer.
Unfortunatly I can not go more that 8/9 Knots what make me crazy.
I Hades changed for three times the propelires and the speed is always more or lesse the same.
Now I do not know the direction of the rotation buf I will see it and then I will tell you.
What are the size of yourself propellers?
